Exercise has been a distant memory the past couple of weeks and eating right hasn’t always been a top priority but it’s significantly better than in the past so I’m patting myself on the back.

Work has been INCREDIBLY busy and I’m back to the 12 – 15 hour days from last year when the hospital was opening. That’s also the time that I gained 20lbs. Needless to say, that’s not a road I would like to travel down again.

I’m at work for 6:30 am and I haven’t been leaving until between 8:00 pm and 9:30 pm. And I have a 45 minute commute. Time has been tight and I’ve used that as an excuse BUT it’s not an excuse. Moving your body and getting the blood flowing need only take five minutes until you can back to your usual routine.

Without further ado, here are my Top 3 Tips for Staying on Track When You’re Cray Cray Busy

1 Just do it! Don’t give yourself an out for exercising. It’s not an option!

2. Find a quick and intense workout that you’ll enjoy and schedule them out for the week so you won’t have to think about it. Visit The Traveling WOD and I’ve started posting some options on my Health & Fitness Pinterest board. Of course you can always create your own 🙂

3. Get in your activity in the morning. If your day takes an unexpected turn, you already got your sweat on!

Refueling with Juice it Up! fresh OJ 🙂
